As is apparent from the satisfaction of our employees, shareholders, and land owners, Forest Oil is committed to enriching the lives of those involved in our success.

Forest Oil Corporate Contributions Committee

This year, our Mile High Heals team members laced up their running shoes and raced or donned their slippers and slept-in for the 2012 Komen Denver Race for the Cure. The team consisted of Forest Oil employees along with their family and friends. This year Forest’s Corporate Contributions Committee sponsored the team for $5,000. The team members raised $11,892, which puts our team at #5 in the overall donations for the race.

Forest believes in our Corporate Contributions program because it provides benefits to our employees, shareholders, partners, and the communities in which we operate. We are proud of the Forest Oil team!

Earlier this year the Corporate Contributions Committee donated $1,000 to the Felecia Mahaffie Fund for Animal Assisted Therapy at Mount Saint Vincent’s Home in Denver. Felecia had worked at Forest many years ago and passed away unexpectedly in July 2011. Forest made this donation to honor Felecia not only for the contributions she had made to our company but to benefit the children in the community in which she worked.

Forest Oil’s Contributions Employee Committee seeks out local charities to support. We financially sponsor non-profits to which Forest Oil employees donate their time and effort. Communities are strengthened by the philanthropic labors of individuals. Forest Oil knows that we can work with individuals and communities to enhance the lives of all. The Contributions Committee’s highest priority is to give to local charities.
