Forest Oil is a Denver-based independent oil and natural gas company focused on the acquisition, exploration, development, and production of oil, natural gas liquids, and natural gas.  The Company was founded in northwestern Pennsylvania in 1916, incorporated in 1924, and has traded publicly since 1969.  Today, Forest primarily operates in three core regions located in the Texas Panhandle Area, the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas, and the East Texas / North Louisiana Area.
