Patrick R. McDonald
President and Chief Executive Officer
Patrick R. McDonald was appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Forest Oil Corporation in September 2012 after serving as our Interim Chief Executive Officer since June 2012, and has been a member of the Board since 2004. He was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer and as a Director of Carbon Natural Gas Co. in 2011, and continues to serve in such capacities. He also served as Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Carbon Natural Gas Co.’s predecessor company Nytis Exploration Company since 2004. From 1998 to 2003, Mr. McDonald served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Carbon Energy Corporation, an oil and gas exploration and production company. From 1987 to 1997, Mr. McDonald served as Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Interenergy Corporation, a natural gas gathering, processing, and marketing company. Prior to that he worked as an exploration geologist with Texaco, Inc. where he was responsible for oil and gas exploration efforts in the Middle and Far East. Until his appointment as interim Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Mr. McDonald was a member of the Board’s Audit Committee and served as chairman of the Board’s Compensation Committee. In March 2011, Mr. McDonald was elected as a director and Chairman of Lone Pine Resources Inc., an oil and gas exploration, development and production company. He is a Certified Petroleum Geologist and is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists. Mr. McDonald received a bachelor’s degree in geology and economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
Victor A. Wind
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Victor A. Wind has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since November 2013. Mr. Wind serves in this position as both the principal financial officer and principal accounting officer of Forest. He also held the position of Treasurer from August 24, 2013 through November 1, 2013. Mr. Wind had previously served as Forest’s Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, Controller and Treasurer beginning in January of 2013. Mr. Wind joined Forest in January 2005 as Controller-Financial Accounting. In April 2005, he became Corporate Controller and served in that capacity until May 2009, when he was promoted to Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Corporate Controller. In December 2009 he was promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Corporate Controller, and served in that capacity until January 2013. Mr. Wind was previously employed by Evergreen Resources, Inc. from July 2001 to December 2004. He served in various management positions during this period, including Director of Financial Reporting and Controller. From 1997 to 2001, he served in various capacities at BDO Seidman, LLP.
Arthur C. (Andy) Anderson
Vice President – Oil and Gas Marketing
Arthur C. Anderson was appointed as Vice President — Oil and Gas Marketing in July 2010. Mr. Anderson joined Forest in 2004 and has most recently served as Director, Oil and Gas Marketing. Prior to joining Forest he served in various positions for Sun E&P, Oryx Energy, Mustang Fuel, Devon Energy and Chaparral Energy.
Larry C. Busnardo
Vice President – Investor Relations
Larry C. Busnardo has served as Vice President Investor Relations since November 2013. Mr. Busnardo joined Forest in April 2012 as Director, Investor Relations. Prior to joining Forest Mr. Busnardo was with Macquarie Capital (USA) from September 2009 until March 2012, where he served as both an equity research analyst covering the small-cap E&P sector and in an energy specialty sales capacity. He served in a similar capacity with Tristone Capital (USA) from February 2007 until its acquisition by Macquarie in September 2009. Prior to that, Mr. Busnardo had 15 years of experience as an equity research analyst and in various investor relations and finance positions working in the E&P industry.
Frederick B. (Britt) Dearman II
Senior Vice President – Southern Region
Frederick B. Dearman II has served as Senior Vice President, Southern Region since August 2012. Mr. Dearman joined Forest in August 2010 as Managing Director, New Ventures, a role he filled until October 2011, when he was promoted to Vice President of that business unit. Prior to joining Forest Mr. Dearman served as Special Projects Manager at Apache Corporation, an oil and gas company, from 2001 to 2010. He also held the positions of Corporate Reservoir Engineering Manager from 1998 to 2001 and Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer 1996 to 1997 at Apache Corporation. He was employed by Amerada Hess Corporation, also an oil and gas company, as a petroleum engineer from 1979 to 1996.
Michael J. Dern
Senior Vice President – Corporate Engineering and Technology
Michael J. Dern has served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Engineering and Technology, since January 2013. Mr. Dern served as Forest’s Vice President, Corporate Engineering from July 2011 to January 2013, as Manager, Reservoir Engineering, Eastern Region from May 2005 until July 2011, and as Manager, Corporate Planning, from May 2001 until May 2005. Prior to joining Forest Oil, he had more than 20 years of industry experience in corporate planning, reservoir engineering and reservoir engineering management at Phillips Petroleum, Exeter Exploration, Midcon Exploration, Apache Corporation and Gulf Canada Resources.
Paul J. Dusha
Vice President – Human Resources
Paul J. Dusha has served as our Vice President Human Resources since March 2005. Mr. Dusha joined Forest in May 2001 as Director Human Resources and served in that position until March 2005. Prior to joining Forest, Mr. Dusha served as Vice President Human Resources and Administration for Virginia Indonesia Company (VICO), a privately-owned international oil and gas corporation. He worked for VICO and its predecessor, Roy M. Huffington, Inc., from 1981 through 2000 in management positions in human resources and general administration in the U.S. and abroad.
Brian M. Fagan has served as Treasurer since November 2013. Mr. Fagan joined Forest in October 2005 following receipt of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. He has held positions in accounting, insurance, business development, treasury and corporate finance.
Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Rick L. Hatcher has served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer since December 2001. He joined Forest in 1988 as a Lead Programmer Analyst. From May 1997 to January 2000, he was employed by Coors Brewing Company as Manager of SAP Projects and Support. Mr. Hatcher rejoined Forest in January 2000 as the Chief Technology Officer. He was employed by Hamilton Brothers Oil Company from 1984 to 1986 and ANR Freight Systems from 1986 to 1988 in various technical and managerial capacities.
Vice President – Acquisitions and Divestitures
Scott Laverde has served as Vice President of Acquisitions & Divestitures since October 1, 2008. Mr. Laverde joined Forest in June 2005 as Senior Business Development Advisor, and was promoted to position of Manager, Business Development in March 2007. Prior to joining Forest, he was Manager of Business Development at Hess Corporation (formerly known as Amerada Hess Corporation), an oil and gas company.
Vice President – General Counsel and Secretary
Richard W. Schelin has served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since January 2014. He previously served as Forest’s Deputy General Counsel from October, 2000, until his appointment as General Counsel. Prior to joining Forest’s legal department in February, 1978, Mr. Schelin was an attorney at the law firm of Moyers, Martin, Conway, Santee & Imel in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Timothy F. Savoy
Senior Vice President – Mid-Continent Region
Timothy F. Savoy has served as Senior Vice President, Mid-Continent Region since December 2013. Mr. Savoy joined Forest in February 2002 as Director Health, Safety and Environment. In June 2004, he became Vice President, Operations Support and served in that capacity until November 2013, when he was promoted to Senior Vice President, Mid-Continent Region. Mr. Savoy was previously employed by Apache Corporation, an oil and gas exploration and production company, from 1991 to 2001, where he served in various capacities. From 1983 to 1991 he served in various engineering positions at Amoco Production Company.
